Hotel Sarovar on Lake Pichola

On the north western bank of Lake Pichola, the newly renovated Hotel Sarovar is just a short walk from the City Palace and other attractions of the old city. Located on the quiet side of the old city, this boutique hotel offers spacious rooms, a view of the sunrise over the old city and Gangaur Ghat, and a rooftop restaurant and lounge, making it perfect for a romantic getaway or a family vacation.
Rooms at Sarovar are of three types: lake facing Suites, lake facing Super Deluxe rooms and Deluxe non-lake facing (with city view). All rooms are large with plenty of natural light, flat-screen TV with cable channels, air conditioning and free WiFi. Each room has ample storage space as well as a kettle with coffee and tea maker. Suite rooms have an additional anteroom lounge area. All rooms have an en-suite bathroom with shower and toiletries as well. Additional mattresses can be arranged upon prior request.
Our staff is here to look after you and you will find that old world charm meet the highest hotel industry standards at our hotel.
We also strive to be eco friendly. We use solar heating for our water and abide by a low-plastic philosophy.
Please note that vehicular traffic to our hotel is restricted; four-wheelers are not allowed into our lane, but rickshaws and scooters are. Do get in touch with us if you need help with parking. We can also arrange a (paid) pickup for you and your luggage from the public parking areas or from the station or airport.

Shamiana Rooftop Lounge and Restaurant serves regional and international dishes, all made fresh with locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. We welcome our vegan guests as well as meat lovers. Guests can enjoy outdoor dining options on our two terraces overlooking the lake, with gorgeous views of Gangaur Ghat and the City Palace, or choose covered, indoor seating. We have 24-hour front desk, currency exchange & car rental services. Travel and sightseeing bookings can be made at the tour desk.
Pickup can be arranged from railway station, bus stand as well as from central parking areas at Chandpole and Ambamata.
NOTE: four wheelers, cars, buses, vans are strictly banned from Lake Pichola historical area. Only auto rickshaws andtwo-wheelers can approach this part of the old city.
With stunning views of the sunrise behind Gangaur Ghat and the City Palace, this serenespot on the quieter side of Lake Pichola is sure to enchant you.
Please Note: Our hotel does not have any car parking facility. The closest paid parking space is approximately 800 meters away and they charge around Rs. 300 per vehicle per day and the nearest free parking space is approximately 500 meters away from the hotel.

Payment policy
We don’t confirm room booking without any deposit.
We need 50% advance to hold the rooms.
All payments need to be cleared before or at the time of check-in.
Cancellation policy
Cancellation of booking done more than 15 days prior to date of check-in, 90 % amount would be refunded to the customer.
Cancellation of booking done more than 7 days and less than 15 days prior to date of check-in, 50 % amount would be refunded to the customer.
Cancellation of booking done in less than or equal to 7 days prior to check-in date; no refund would be given to the customer.
Other policies
Each guest has to carry a valid ID proof at the time of check in.
Customer has to carry a copy of booking voucher at the time of check in.
Right of admission reserved as we don’t allow suspicious unmarried couple.
